FAQ's
These are questions I often get asked by folk, so I figured I'd pop them in their own page along with my answers.
Q: Would you like me to review one of your books?
A: Sure!
Q: So can I have a review copy/ARC?
A: Whilst review copies may be provided upon request, the number of copies available is limited and a request to review is not a guarantee of the review copy being granted. If you are interested in reviewing any J.A. Belfield titles, please send your request to j.a.belfield72 @ gmail . com (without spaces). Ensure the nature of your request is clear, and please include any links to where your review will be posted, as well as a date you intend to post your review by.
Q: Would you like to feature on my blog?
A: I consider all queries of this nature. Please send a message with your blog details and the kind of post you have in mind via any of my social media accounts.
Q: Hey, when's your next blog tour and can I take part?
A: Due to time constraints, I may not be organising future blog tours for my books. However, I will, hopefully, be arranging for Release Day Blasts or promotional blasts to make up for that, and definitely cover reveals for new titles will be ongoing. To keep up with when those will be taking place, be sure to follow my blog, as that is where the sign-ups will most likely be displayed.
Q: Will we be getting more Holloway Pack?
A: Release date for the next title is TBD, as I'm taking a small hiatus to work on a new project, or two.
Q: What will the next Holloway Pack book be titled?
A: Burned
Q: Who will be the main character for Burned?
A: Josh will be howling his woes for fans of the series in the 6th installment.
Q: Will Burned be the last Holloway Pack book?
A: That's not the plan, nope. My intention is for there to be seven Holloway Pack titles. In fact, I wrote a blog post about it HERE!
Q: Do I need to read the Prequel: Beginnings to understand the story?
A: In a nutshell: No. The two stories in there, Instinct and Eternal, are purely to take the readers who wish to be taken on a trip into Jem & Sean's history and where it all began for them.
Q: Will you ever write a YA?
A: I'm a big fan of YA, and my brain has been whirring over a potential YA horror/paranormal, which I would LOVE to play with.
Q: Will you ever write NA?
A: I'm hoping one of my future WIPs will be a NA post apocalyptic. So ... watch this space.
Q: Will you ever write something more racy than the Holloway Pack main stories--more in tune with Enticed?
A: Did you not see my the blurb for The Therapist? Or A Beast Of A Week? ;)
Q: What are you working on right now, and what will be your next release?
A: Right now, although I have around 45% of Burned written, but I'm also bouncing between quite a few other WIPs. Current WIPs beside Josh's story include a saucy three-part novella/short novel that might be released in separate chunks prior to being released as a whole, and a twisted psychological romance written from the antagonists POV. But forefront right now is a Chrismassy novella, which I hope to release winter 2021.
A: Sure!
